Hello everyone! I am back from Japan and ready to work again. XD

As promised, I stocked up on a LOT of new doujinshi while I was there (more then I should have ^^;) and am excited to start working on them. Once again, the watcher list has shot up which makes for a very happy and motivated me. ^_^

There is a sense of no turning back for all three of them: they’ve made their decision and they have to stick to it. Yukimura’s words when Sanada accepted what he asked: “This is enough”, Shiraishi’s famous speech: “Until the last point is scored, I will continue playing my perfect tennis.” Kite is a rather interesting case because I think both Kite’s character as well as Higa’s team got examined in more detail. I don’t think they got changed for the better, because I think that is what they are like (only that we didn’t see it in the manga Just like Watanabe’s comment about how this is all the result of Shiraishi’s hard work). But in the OVA, I found Kite’s words really sad, when he thought the following: “How can I lose like this? I am willing to do anything in order to win.” This really shows a sense of no turning back. I think Kite knows that what he does is wrong, yet he accepts it. I think it is also necessary to take the previous bit into account, when he replied the following to Tezuka: “Spare me your lectures.” I think this bit is actually really symbolic. To be honest, I do find Tezuka’s preaching a bit annoying, even though Kite is wrong. But I can not help but to feel: “Yes, it is easy for you guys to say this because you went through so little problems.” I don’t think Kite can use what happened to him as a justification because that is not true (Advertisement: One of my one shot: “Permission to cry” deals with this idea of how you can not use what you went through to justify your actions.) I think what I feel is this, that Tezuka is judging and condemning people without really looking into all the circumstance and I think the reason I don’t like it that much is because: “Hey, you aren’t exactly behaving like a saint either.” I mean, does he ever scold Echizen for saying all these really rude things? (Apologies to Tezuka fans, I don’t really like Tezuka.

Stevie Wonder Tickets and please dont get jealous of me okay. Hey Tirana, how can you get that ticket so easily eh. Patient dude, I will tell you but first let me credit all thanks to my friend Fido. Last 2 weeks, I hanged out with him at The Curve, One Utama and he invited me to Avril Lavigne concert at Kuala Lumpur since he had extra ticket. I was shocked because Im looking everywhere for the ticket but didnt have the luck and then, he was so easily told me that he had extra ticket!

That was when he told me about this Viagogo website, a ticket hub which based at UK that brings together ticket seller and buyer. Not only concerts tickets, it has also popular sports and theaters tickets sold on the website. Ah! Bamboo Collage era
Hitomi released her 4th single "Communication" on July 12, 2006. The song was the ending theme song for "MUSIC FIGHTER" during the month of July 2006. Once finally released, this single failed to make it in the Top 20 Daily Charts. It also failed to make it in the Weekly Top 30, and was revealed to debut at #60 on the charts, selling a little more than 2,000 copies in its first week.
It was during the eighth month of 2006 that news of a new single surfaced. This single, titled "Kobi", was officially announced to be Hitomi's 5th single at the end of August, and was used as the theme song for the movie "Tegami", which features actors Takayuki Yamada, Tetsuji Tamayama, and Erika Sawajiri. Similar to her past single, "Kobi" failed to chart in the Top 30 Weekly Charts, and debuted at #50 for its first week on the charts, only selling about 300 more copies than "Communication". In spite of this, Hitomi was chosen to be one of many artists to take part in the new tribute album for the new Death Note movie.
Following the release of her two unsuccessful singles was the song "Candy Line," which was officially announced on Christmas Day. The song was chosen to be used as the 4th ending theme for the anime series, Gintama. When released, the single became her biggest hit since "evergreen", and reached #14 during its first week on the Oricon charts, and overall was reported as selling over 15,000 copies.
As her 2nd single of 2007, Takahashi released her 7th single, titled "Jet Boy Jet Girl", which was released on August 1st, 2007. The title song was the new opening theme song to the anime "Terra e...", and her second single to be released in CD only and CD+DVD formats. The single did not receive the same success as "Candy Line", but sold over double of her 4th and 5th singles.
Takahashi also released a new single a little more than one month after "Jet Boy Jet Girl", with the title "Tsuyoku Nare". The title song, aptly named "Tsuyoku Nare", was used as the ending theme song of the movie "Hōtai Club". As her past four singles, this song was produced by Takuya, and the lyrics were personally written by Takahashi herself. Though heavily promoted via the movie, "Tsuyoku Nare" failed to match the success of her "sympathy" era singles.
Continuing the speedy releasing of material, Takahashi released her 2nd album "Bamboo Collage". The album featured all the singles since the release of "Communication", and was her first album to reflect her change from pop/rock music to punk-rock, a change which was made because her voice was thought to be better suited to the latter genre. As most of the singles released for promotion of this album, "Bamboo Collage" failed to enter the Oricon Weekly Top 30. Despite this, though, Takahashi held her first tour, which consisted of four lives during the early parts of December.

Sorry I've been pretty much dead lately, for a month and a half. -.- I've just gotten lazy again lol. Annnnd school's starting in two days, wow, why did winter break have to go by THAT fast? T_T Anyhoo, I wanted to let Tenimyu fans know that I'm taking a 'retirement' break from making anymore Tenimyu/Tenipuri icons. Yes... sadly I'm not inspired to make them anymore and my obsession is beginning to waver. I'm now into YGO -again- as you can tell. I'll probably still make Tenipuri ones, because I just want to create anime icons for now, reality... ehhh... just don't look good to me anymore lol. And that's the news basically ^^;; Happy Belated New Years.

So last night we went out with a big group of our friends to Speed Zone. It's one of those go-kart, miniature golf and arcade places.

We had a good time.

The first thing we did was one of the 4 go kart tracks. This one was the best, we thought because it was a big go kart and it was just you against the clock. It took me a lap to kind of get used to the go kart because it was like a mini-race-car more than like a go-kart. The steering was really stiff so I had to use a lot of muscle to spin it around the corners. I was so sore after 3 laps, it was stupid! Sean said it made him really sore too, so I didn't feel as wussy after that, but still.

Since we were too sore to do more go karts, we hit the arcade. It was sooooo cool - they had Initial D. w00t. It was probably the coolest racing game I've ever played. We were drifting baby!! w00000000t.

After that we went back out and watched our friends do the slick tract go kart which was cool and then all like 30 of us went through one of the miniature golf courses.

Finally we left around like 11:30? We decided to go out for Thai food. It was really good. It was cool that they were open so late, we didn't get there until midnight. On the dot. Literally. LOL.

So after we ate we finally came home. Sean and I stayed up longer to watch the Olympics we'd recorded earlier in the day. Watched the men's gymnastics qualifiers. Watched a bit of swimming. XD It was good. The Olympics have been pretty awesome to watch so far. I mean, those opening ceremonies were really something!! I'm looking forward to watching more of it. Thankfully I have tivo since I seriously don't have the time to watch them live (who does? for reals, who does?) since they're all day.

Well, I guess that's it for now on my life. I'm tired of typing anyways.

Back in Seoul, Jin Soos friend reports to Director Han about the rumour that the current owners of Un Ahm Jung are not in fact the royal chefs descendants. Furthermore, shes actually gone and confirmed it to be true. The two reporters squeal together. (And conveniently removes Jin Soos participation in revealing a secret that Sung Chan will see as a betrayal.)
Joo Hee and Bong Joo are sampling really good, expensive wines, in celebration of Bong Joos promotion and to search for wines to accompany their dishes. He brings up his meeting with American winemakers (in America!) next month, to prove how much their wines suit Korean food - so as to extend the franchise, and hes making it dependent on wine, apparently. Joo Hee looks uncomfortable, whether at this or at her recent lack of appetite, Im not sure. Bong Joo looks puzzled, and Im not sure theyre trying to say Joo Hee is pregnant in a really roundabout way, or Ive just been reading too much SMeyer and assume any sort of food-related malaise is pregnancy related.
