Good morning!
Saturday night we dropped a 3-1 (20-25, 12-25, 25-23, 13-25) decision to defending CalPac Champion, Holy Names University. The stat lines were almost identical but the Hawks made the critical opportunities count. So after a good fight against this tough team, we are now 3-9 overall and 2-2 in CalPac Conference action.

Seniors Treva Crocker and Emily White were the stat leaders. Treva put down 11 kills and 2 blocks and Emily collected 16 digs.

Holy Names is the toughest conference team that we have faced thus far, but they are definitely a squad that we can butt heads with. We play them again in a month, so we will aim to go in to their place and BATTLE!

On tap this week - We travel to face current CalPac leader, Menlo College (4-0) for a 7pm match start on Friday, Oct 4 in Atherton. On Saturday, we host the second Annual Bethany Volleyball Alumni Day. Festivities will begin with a BBQ at 3:30 p.m. as the current team will have the opportunity to great and eat with former Bruin greats and their families before facing them on the court that night at 7pm.
